It’s been a fantastic season here on the Skagit. We had several days of boat limits, and not one skunk day! The season got off to an early start in mid November, peaking around Christmas. The fish were in great shape this year, all very healthy and larger then years past. We had a great time this year introducing several newbies to the Steelhead addiction. And had a lot of old friends join us in the boat. We caught fish in all the old familiar places, and the ever changing Skagit gave us a few new favorite spots. Looking forward to a few more days of Hatchery fish, and then the Native fish will begin! We still have several spots open for Natives, and it is still up in the air if we will have a C&R season.
