The Ronny and Donny show 2/15/08

We teamed up with Ronny and Donny today and nailed three nice Steelhead, two dollies, 1 cutthroat, and two suckers. The weather tried all day to get ugly, but it never got too bad. It seems like Donny Brings the rain with him. But that’s OK because we always catch fish and have a killer day! It was the last day we could throw fish guts (closes for bait fishing) so we figured we better try a few. We busted out some of Jeff’s secret recipe and 2 of the steelies fell victim to his ammo. The other Steelhead came on orange yarn, as well as the Cut and suckers. The bigger of the two suckers was unfortunately foul hooked (shown below) but we decided to keep it anyway….ugly sucker!

The 222 lb sucker Donny caught, it took skill, and determination to hook this sucker.

Ronny’s Red Hot Chromer, best fighter of the year so far. This fish was on the bite, besides ours he had two broken off leaders in his mouth. 1 pre-tied mustad rig, and another yarnie with a vision rolling drop swivel plus pencil lead! We did this fish a favor by trimming that stuff off.
